Stable Hand Position (Casual)

We are looking for casual stable hands to join our busy breaking and pre-training barn.

Please note sound horse experience is ESSENTIAL.

Flexible shifts available AM shifts from 4-9:30 AM and PM shifts from 2-5 PM (later start times on weekends)

• All basic stable chores incl. mucking out stables, general cleaning and horse husbandry.
• Saddling and unsaddling horses of breakers, pre-trainers and horses in training.
• Washing off and grooming of horses.
• Turning out and catching horses in paddocks.

There are a lot of opportunities to step up and take on more responsibilities if that is of interest.

Must currently hold or have applied for your Queensland Stable Hand Licence.
